The licence
Stemmata is offered under Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. The terms below add detail specific to this app; where they conflict, Apple's agreement governs.
What you may do
- Use Stemmata on the devices your Apple Account allows.
- Import your own bibliographic records and read, annotate and export them.
What you may not do
- Redistribute the app, or resell access to it.
- Use it to circumvent a publisher's stated restriction. Stemmata reports permissions; it does not grant them.
What Stemmata does not promise
Permission decisions are a reading of licence and opt-out data published by third parties. That data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and Stemmata marks the ones it knows to be old. The result is information, not legal advice, and it does not replace your own or your institution's assessment of what you may lawfully process.
The app is provided as is, without warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
Purchases
Any purchase is made through the App Store and billed to your Apple Account. Apple handles refunds: report a problem.
