• Does it need an iPhone? No — Daylume is a standalone watch app. • Does it work offline? Yes — every sun/moon calculation is done on the watch and your last location is remembered. By default Daylume makes no network requests at all; the one thing it can send is the optional place-name lookup to Apple's own geocoder (Settings > Location, off by default). • Which watches? Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later. The compass view uses built-in compass hardware (Series 5+). • Subscription? Never. One purchase, yours forever.
