That is intended. Neuma does not seed your vault with example notes. Go to Capture, write one line, and save it; the Library, the graph, and Recall all start working from that first item.
In Neuma's own container on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings → Sync, a copy also lives in your iCloud private database — the part of iCloud that belongs to your Apple Account and that developers cannot read. Settings → Export & Import writes the whole vault out as an archive you can open without Neuma.
Open Settings → Sync. The status line shows how many items are mirrored and how many are held back. On the free tier the most recent 250 items mirror and the rest stay put — they are not lost, and they are not deleted. If the count looks stuck, check that the device is signed into iCloud and that iCloud Drive is on; Neuma cannot sync for an account it is not allowed to use.
Because listing them would mean querying your iCloud account, and Neuma only ever touches the private database holding your own vault. The Devices screen shows this device and the measured sync count, and says so plainly instead of inventing a roster.
Then do nothing: Mind Bridge is off and empty on a fresh install. It cannot contact anything without a provider key that only you can add, and even then the consent matrix has to allow the cluster or tag involved.
Settings → Neuma Plus → Restore purchases. There is no account to recover, because your subscription lives in your App Store purchase history, which Apple keeps. Signing into the same Apple Account on a new device is all that is needed.
That means the App Store did not return the products — usually a network blip or a sandbox account. Neuma hides the purchase rows rather than showing a made-up price. Try again on a normal connection.
Delete the app: the on-device vault goes with it. If you had sync on, remove Neuma's data from iCloud in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. There is no third copy on a server anywhere.
