Neuma has no account, no server, and no analytics. There is no sign-in, no email address is collected, and the app contains no telemetry endpoint.
Your notes, attachments, voice memos, graph, and settings — in Neuma's container on your device. If you enable sync, a copy is written to your own iCloud private database under your Apple Account. That database is not readable by me; Apple holds it on your behalf. Generated reports, including summaries and source-linked findings, are also stored on your device so you can reopen them.
Local note capture and search do not require an external AI service. Apple processes App Store purchases and optional iCloud synchronization. If you configure another available sync destination, such as your own WebDAV server, the selected destination stores the content you synchronize. Its operator and retention practices depend on the service you choose.
Mind Bridge is off by default. You can configure an external AI provider, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI or Mistral, using your own key. Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and sent to the selected provider to authenticate requests.
Permission rules and each note's AI access govern which saved notes may be used. Before a request containing content is sent, the app shows the destination and text for your confirmation. The payload can include your prompt and permitted note titles and excerpts. For reports, it can also include bounded passages selected from the bodies of saved notes allowed for that provider, with source identifiers. Canceling prevents that request. A switch disables the bridge.
The selected provider may associate the request with your provider account and retain the content according to its policies. Neuma does not promise zero retention by third parties. Review the provider's terms and avoid sending information you do not want that service to receive. The developer does not operate a proxy that receives these requests.
Excerpt sharing opens an editable preview. Only the shown text and visible Neuma App Store link are passed to the system share sheet. It does not automatically include attachments, tags or the rest of your vault. You choose the destination. The receiving service's policies then apply. The original note is unchanged.

Neuma Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment; the app reads whether a subscription is active directly from StoreKit on the device. Payment details never reach the app, and Apple's sales reports to me do not identify you.
Local storage is not a developer-operated account. Optional external services can receive and retain content when you enable and use them, even though the developer does not receive it. App Store privacy information should be read together with these choices and disclosures.
Neuma is not directed at children and collects nothing identifying about anyone.
The developer holds no server-side copy of your vault. You can export it: Settings → Export & Import writes the vault in a documented format. Deleting the app removes the on-device copy; removing Neuma's iCloud data in iOS Settings removes that copy. For other destinations or AI providers, use that service's controls and policies to manage retained data.
