Bisque support
Paint a ceramic creature, give it a little character, and come back to the artwork you made.
Paint and turn
Drag your finger across the creature to paint. Choose a colour from the bottom row and a brush from the row above. Swipe the colour row sideways for more colours. Drag the empty background to turn the creature and paint another side.
Dress your creature
Tap a clothing icon to put it on; tap again to take it off. A scarf and bow tie use the same spot, so one replaces the other. Drag on clothing to rotate the figure. Clothes are accessories, not paintable surfaces; remove an item to paint underneath.
Start over and undo
Hold the round figure button at the top left for 1.4 seconds until its ring fills to clear paint and clothes. A quick tap only shows a hint and does not erase. The back arrow restores a recent artwork change, including a reset. Your current colour and brush stay selected. Up to three recent changes are kept in this session; undo history may clear if the device needs memory.
Keep your work
The current artwork and tools save locally. Reopening Bisque returns to that creation, even on another day. The app does not keep a gallery or automatically replace your artwork each day. There is no cross-device artwork sync.
If saving or loading fails
Use Retry in the displayed message. If a saved file cannot be opened, the recovery option preserves that file before starting a new canvas. Please contact us if it happens again. Do not delete the app if you want to preserve your work.
Apple Watch companion
Install Bisque on the Watch paired with your iPhone, open both apps, and make an artwork change on the iPhone. The Watch shows a simple animated interpretation of the creature and its mood. Paint and clothing stay on the phone. The iPad does not send artwork to a Watch.
If the Watch is still waiting, check that it is paired to this iPhone and that Bisque is installed there. Open Bisque on the iPhone again. Updates depend on Apple’s device connection and may arrive later when the Watch is unavailable. The last received companion remains available offline.
For grown-ups
The four dots at the top right open an adult maths challenge. Use Not now to return to painting, or solve it to open privacy and support information. In that section, Done returns to the artwork. There are no ads, accounts, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
