Room to play, at your pace

Time to colour. Room to imagine.

No ads, chat, accounts, scores or time limits, and no prices in the play area. Painting works offline. Colours give your creature a playful mood, with soft movement and wordless sounds.

Mood is part of the make-believe. Bisque does not assess a child's emotions or development.

A few things for grown-ups

What is free, and what is Bisque Family?

Bisque is free to download, and today's creature is free every day. The free shelf keeps the last 7 days.

Bisque Family is optional and offered only to grown-ups, behind the adult maths challenge; the play area shows no prices. It adds Kiln Drop (four new creature families each month, one per week), an unlimited shelf on this device, and Bring it home files: an A4 poster, a colouring page, a sticker sheet or a 60 mm STL file for 3D printing, made on the device.

Choose Monthly ($5.99), Yearly ($39.99, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or Lifetime ($99.99, one-time purchase). Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows your local price before you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage them in Settings under your Apple Account. Family Sharing is on. If you bought Bisque before Bisque Family existed, Family is yours for life.

Where does the artwork go?

Today's creation is saved on this device. Each day the device makes a new creature, and yesterday's painted creature moves to the shelf, where a tap opens it again. There is no account, online gallery or cross-device artwork sync. Holding Start over clears today's paint and clothing.

Do we need an Apple Watch?

No. Paint and dress your creature on iPhone or iPad. An optional Watch app shows a simple companion based on the creature's identity and mood from a paired iPhone. Paint and clothing do not transfer to the Watch. Open Bisque on the paired iPhone to send an update; delivery depends on the device connection.

What about privacy and external links?

Bisque has no ads or analytics and requests no camera, microphone or location access. The app's support and privacy links and Bisque Family sit behind an adult maths challenge. The App Store is contacted only to check and offer Bisque Family. This website is for grown-ups choosing the app.
