Bestow keeps what you noticed and brings it back while there is still time to act on it.
Because that is what sets the reminder. Something ordered needs ten days; something made needs three weeks; something planned together needs six; something hard to find needs eight. A reminder on the day itself is useless.
Because it is weaker evidence. Two noticings pointing at the same thing outrank one, and something said once two years ago does not come before something seen twice last week. Attention accumulates; guesses do not.
So that nothing outside it is shown at all. Showing something and calling it “a bit over” is not a filter.
Because there was nothing to show. If you have not noticed anything yet, or no suggestion clears the threshold, Bestow says so and shows what kinds of things are worth noticing. Inventing a suggestion to fill the screen would undo the only thing that makes a suggestion worth reading.
A note about a person is not something to dictate to your wrist in a room with other people in it. The Watch shows; the phone writes.
No. There is no account, no server and no network code in the app at all — a build gate fails the release if network frameworks appear in the app targets. Your contacts are never read.
Unlimited people, the together-planner, and a backup file that goes device to device. Free covers three people with unlimited noticings, fully working.
Because there is no server, we cannot restore it. Make a backup file and keep it somewhere you trust. This is the cost of the app having no copy of your notes, and it is deliberate.
