Tonus collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics and no advertising identifier.
It reads health data from Apple Health on your own device, computes everything there, and writes the result nowhere except that device.
With your permission, and only after you grant it in Apple's own Health permission sheet: heart rate variability (SDNN), resting heart rate, respiratory rate.
Tonus requests read access only. It has no write permission and cannot add, change or delete anything in your Health data. You can withdraw any part of this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Tonus; the app then reports the missing signal instead of guessing.
Nowhere. All computation happens on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Tonus contains no networking code for sending your health data, no third-party SDK, no crash reporter and no analytics library. Your baselines and pinned settings are stored in the app's own container on the device.
Nothing about you. We receive no data from the app. Apple provides the developer with aggregate, anonymous App Store statistics (downloads, crashes, ratings by country) that are not linked to any individual and that we cannot connect to a person.
Tonus is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Tonus is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. When a pattern in your data resembles the beginning of an illness, Tonus says the pattern resembles it and explains why — it never tells you that you are ill. Decisions about your health belong to you and your clinician.
If this policy ever changes, the new version appears at this address with a new date. Because there is no collection to expand, any change would be a narrowing.

Nirgendwohin. Alles wird auf iPhone und Apple Watch berechnet. Die App enthält keinen Netzwerkcode zum Versenden deiner Gesundheitsdaten, kein Drittanbieter-SDK, keinen Crash-Reporter und keine Analytik. Basislinien und Anheftungen liegen im eigenen Container der App auf dem Gerät.
Nichts über dich. Aus der App erreichen uns keine Daten. Apple stellt Entwicklern aggregierte, anonyme App-Store-Statistiken bereit (Downloads, Abstürze, Bewertungen nach Land), die keiner Person zugeordnet sind und von uns nicht zugeordnet werden können.
Tonus richtet sich nicht an Kinder und erhebt von niemandem Daten, auch nicht von Kindern.
Tonus ist kein Medizinprodukt. Es diagnostiziert, behandelt, heilt und verhütet keine Krankheit. Gleicht ein Muster in deinen Daten dem Beginn eines Infekts, sagt Tonus, dass das Muster ihm gleicht, und erklärt warum — es sagt nie, dass du krank bist. Entscheidungen über deine Gesundheit gehören dir und deiner Ärztin oder deinem Arzt.
Ändert sich diese Erklärung, erscheint die neue Fassung mit neuem Datum an dieser Adresse. Da nichts erhoben wird, kann jede Änderung nur eine Einschränkung sein.
