Privacy

Ostinato collects nothing, sends nothing and stores nothing about you anywhere but your own device.

Data collected

None. Not analytics, not crash reports, not identifiers, not an email address. The app has no account system and makes no network requests of any kind.

The calendar

If you allow calendar access, Ostinato reads only the start and end times of events inside the window you set, so it can write your day around them. It does not read titles, guests, notes, locations or URLs, and it does not copy or transmit anything it reads.

This is not only a policy. The release build fails if the calendar code touches any field other than the times.

You can use Ostinato without granting calendar access.

What is stored on the device

Four numbers describing your curve, and the date of the last partition you wrote. Ostinato does not keep a diary: there is no record of what you did at what time.

Purchases

The one-time purchase is handled by Apple through StoreKit. The entitlement is verified cryptographically on the device. Ostinato has no server and receives no purchase data.

Children

Ostinato is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the change will appear here with a date. As long as the app has no network code, there is nothing that could be collected.
