Common questions

What is the difference between Done and Released?

Done means you finished it. Released means you decided not to. Keeping them apart is the reason the app exists: if abandoning something is only possible by deleting it, you never abandon anything, and the list quietly rots.

Cusp says my folder is unreachable.

iOS grants folder access through a bookmark that can expire — after a restore, an iCloud sign-out, or if the folder was moved or renamed. Self → Cusp folder → Change, and pick it again. Nothing is lost in the meantime; mirroring resumes and backfills.

Does mirroring ever overwrite my own files?

Cusp writes only inside a cusp/ subfolder it creates, and only files it created. The transition log is append-only.

The Sunday glance is not showing.

It appears when there is something to say: at least one thread that has been sitting long enough to be worth a look. An empty week shows nothing rather than an empty panel.

I hit 100 threads.

Released and Done threads still count, because they are still your record. If you would rather not subscribe, deleting old threads frees space — but consider that the record is most of the value.

How do I restore Plus?

Self → Restore purchases. It uses your App Store account.

Can I get my data out?

It is already out: the mirrored folder is plain Markdown and JSONL. That is the export.
