Cusp — Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026.

Cusp has no account, no server, and no analytics. The app makes no network requests of its own.

What Cusp stores, and where

Your threads, their state changes, and your settings — on your device. If you pick a mirror folder, a second copy is written there as plain Markdown and JSONL. That folder is yours; if you place it in iCloud Drive, Apple syncs it under your own Apple Account and Norea Studio has no access to it.

What Cusp reads

If you link a NEUMA vault, Cusp reads recent note titles so the capture screen can offer them as context chips. Read-only. It never writes to your vault, and sealed notes are not opened.

What is sent anywhere

Nothing. Cusp contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no code that contacts Norea Studio. The only network traffic the app can cause is Apple's own: the App Store purchase check, and — if you chose an iCloud folder — iCloud Drive syncing files on your behalf.

What Norea Studio receives

Nothing, unless you email me. Then I have your message and your address.

Purchases

Cusp Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment and tells the app whether the purchase is active. Payment details never reach the app, and Apple's sales reports to me do not identify you.

Children

Cusp is not directed at children and collects nothing identifying about anyone.

Your rights

There is no server-side copy to access, correct, export, or delete. Deleting the app removes the on-device copy; deleting your mirror folder removes the other. Your export is already sitting in that folder in a format you can read without me.

Changes
