Forgn does not collect any data. Your archive, your notes, your projects and your plans are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere — not to us, not to anyone.
There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server operated by us.
One exception, and it is yours to trigger: when you run a literature search or clip a web page, your device contacts that public service directly. Only what you typed goes out.

Everything you create in Forgn is written to the app's private storage on your iPhone and stays there:
None of this is transmitted. If you delete the app, it is deleted with it — we hold no copy and could not restore it. Use Export before deleting if you want to keep it.
Three actions reach the network. Each is started by you, each sends only what is listed, and in each case your device talks to that service directly — there is no server of ours in between, so we never see the request at all.

Your archive is never included in any of these. The search words are not stored by us, not logged by us, and not associated with you by us, because they never reach us.
Forgn asks for no camera permission and no photo library permission, because it needs neither. Scanning a printed page uses your iPhone's built-in text recognition from the keyboard: iOS opens the camera, recognises the text on the device, and types the result into the app. Forgn never receives an image and no photo is saved.
Voice notes use the iOS dictation key on the keyboard. Speech handling is Apple's; see Apple's privacy documentation for how dictation works on your device.
If you turn on Face ID unlock, iOS performs the check and tells the app only "succeeded" or "failed". Your biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave and is never available to Forgn.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Forgn receives only a verified receipt of what was purchased and until when. We do not see, receive or store your name, email, card, or any payment detail. Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Forgn is a tool for research and invention and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone — of any age — because we do not collect information at all.
Under the GDPR, the KVKK and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. In Forgn these are unusually direct, because your data never left you:
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or erase on request. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will investigate and answer.
If a future version of Forgn ever sends something new, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the App Store release notes. The date at the top always reflects the current text.

Forgn hiçbir veri toplamaz. Arşiviniz, notlarınız, projeleriniz ve planlarınız yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır ve hiçbir yere gönderilmez. Hesap yok, analitik yok, reklam yok, izleme yok ve bize ait bir sunucu yok.
Tek istisna sizin başlattığınız aramadır: literatür araması yaptığınızda yalnızca yazdığınız sözcükler, doğrudan cihazınızdan Crossref ve arXiv'e gider; bir web sayfasını kaydettiğinizde cihazınız o adresi doğrudan çeker. Arada bizim sunucumuz olmadığı için bu istekleri biz hiç görmeyiz.
Kamera ve fotoğraf izni istenmez: sayfa tarama, iOS'un klavyedeki kendi metin tanımasını kullanır ve fotoğraf uygulamaya hiç ulaşmaz. Face ID kontrolünü iOS yapar; biyometrik veriniz uygulamaya verilmez. Abonelikler Apple tarafından işlenir; ödeme bilgilerinizi görmeyiz.
KVKK ve GDPR kapsamındaki erişim, düzeltme, silme ve taşınabilirlik haklarınız uygulama içinden doğrudan kullanılabilir: Ayarlar → Dışa Aktar tüm arşivinizi JSON olarak verir; uygulamayı silmek her şeyi siler. Bizde size ait bir veri bulunmadığı için iletilecek, düzeltilecek veya silinecek bir kayıt da yoktur.
