That is the design. Answering a question produces a claim, not evidence. The claim only carries weight once you climb its validation ladder on the Your self screen — self-report, then corroboration, then a task probe. A profile built entirely of unclimbed answers scores near zero on purpose, and so does everybody else's.
Because a 0–100 number invites rounding to a grade. The 1000 scale keeps the five components legible: permission coverage, verifiable data, cross-validation participation, consistency, and recency. The band name under the number (Sketch, Draft, Verified, Trusted) is what actually gates anything.
One component is time-coherence, and time cannot be spent through. Repeated quiet probes weeks apart are worth more than many probes in one afternoon. This is the part that makes the score worth having.
It has no rights record. Eidos treats a missing record as a refusal, not as permission — the entry is displayed and can be read, but it is never represented or rented. Public-domain figures carry a record saying so, and it is shown on the card.
Look under the card: after a feed round, Eidos lists the concepts whose weights changed and the before and after values. If the list is empty, the batch genuinely carried nothing new. "Profile updated" without saying what changed would tell you nothing, so Eidos does not say it.
That is a rule, not an empty state. A self is scored only after it is verified and has opted into the pool. Showing an unverified self with a low match would suggest the ranking had looked at it. It had not.
Protected traits — the exact list is printed on the Employer screen every time, above the results. An invisible filter is an unreviewable contract.
No. The app makes no network requests of its own. Everything is computed on your device.
Eidos follows your device language among the six it ships in, and falls back to English otherwise.
Delete the app. There is no second copy anywhere.
